Thailand Missions Trips to the 10/40 window

This year Global Frontier Missions will be running four sessions of missions trips to Bangkok, Thailand. We host awesome Christian short term mission trips during the summer for high school youth, college, and mixed groups in which we focus on taking the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the unreached Buddhist world.

The following is a basic overview of a 10-day mission trip to Thailand:

Training Phase (2 days):  The first day, your team arrives in Bangkok and takes about a 30 minute van ride to the YWAM base.  The first two days of the trip are spent mostly at our base, getting everyone ready for outreach.  There is also a temple tour which is a great introduction to the Buddhist religion as well as Thai culture.  This training phase includes times of personal devotions, Biblical instruction (missions, death to self, repentance, etc.), team time, worship, Thai classes, and cultural preparation.  We also train you in things specific to your outreach (kids programs, English classes, Thai and cultural issues specific to your ministry, etc.).

Outreach Phase (5 days):  After the training phase, we spend the better part of the next five days ministering in different ministry locations throughout Bangkok.  There will still be some times of ministry preparation and training each morning, but we will spend a good portion of each day doing English classes, kids’ programs, work projects, or carrying out other ministries.  These days will be fun times of working hard, praying hard, building relationships, and sharing the gospel with our words and our lives.  During the outreach phase we will provide times for your team to meet for prayer, sharing, debriefing, announcements, etc.

Debriefing Day:  The last day of your trip is a fun day in Bangkok.  We debrief the trip, shop at markets, and eat a nice meal.  We also use this day as a prayer tour – an opportunity to intercede for Thailand.  That night your team stays at a local hotel, and the next morning you head home.

God has used these trips to get many people excited about serving Him, and we have seen many individuals become very involved in world missions as a result of their short term missions experience. We would love to have you and your team join us to reach the lost of Thailand. It's an experience you'll never forget!
