Special Projects

We have several special projects that you can donate money towards also including our Adopt a Missionary, Adopt A People, and Adopt a Student program. We do not take out any money for administrative fees or overhead, so you can be assured that 100% of your donation will go to the person, project, or people group that you are sending it to. More information about specific programs can be found below.

Adopt-A-Missionary

We have started a program called Adopt-A-Missionary. The purpose is to raise up economic and prayer support for indigenous missionaries among unreached people groups. There are many people that are willing to go out into other villages to preach the Gospel, but it is very difficult for them to leave their crops, animals, and families behind.

There are many positive aspects in having indigenous laborers share the Gospel here in Oaxaca. Village people have the advantage of understanding the language and culture of the people. This often helps to quickly build up trust and to more easily share the Gospel. Although, they often do not have many expenses, they often struggle financially. If an indigenous person wants to dedicate himseld full-time to sharing the Gospel in villages, he cannot tend to his crops, animals, or family. We would like for it to be easier for the indigenous to become missionaries. There are so many unreached villages throughout Oaxaca, and we need the help of the indigenous laborers to accomplish the task.

If you would be interested in helping to support an indigenous missionary, please contact us and we will send you names and photos of laborers who are in need of econimical and prayer backing. These missionaries need approximately $50/month which helps pay for their tuition during our indigneous Bible school and other expenses as they minister in the villages.

Adopt-A-Student

Education throughout the state of Oaxaca is very inadequate. Most village s only have any elementary and sometimes a junior high school. If a young person wants to acheieve a high school education, he/she has to leave his/her village and go to one of the market towns. Unfortunately, this means expenses such as housing, food, books, uniforms, etc.

Our base is located in the Mixteco market village of Tlaxiaco where many students arrive to study. We have built to large dorms for housing young people who come to study. Our goal is to help meet their physical and spiritual needs while they are in Tlaxiaco studying.

If you would be interested in helping to pay for the housing, food, and schooling for a Mixteco young person, please contact us and we will send you names and photos of people who are in need. These students need approximately $30/month.
