Did you know that about 95% of all short-tem mission trips are serving in areas of the world where there are already churches capable of reaching their own people with the Gospel. They say that only about 25% of all long-term missionaries are working among unreached people groups.

We believe that if more people were going on short-term mission trips among the least reached people that more Christians would be praying, giving, and going to those areas of the world. Many people go to orphanages, build homes, or do vacation Bible school in Mexican border towns which are totally valid ministries. However, God often times breaks the mission trip participants' hearts for the people in those areas and many people end up getting "called" back to those places or supporting those ministries and very few end up praying for, giving to, and going to the places that have the greatest spiritual need.

40% of the world's population or 2.5 billion people live in people groups that have no access to the Gospel because there are no Christian churches among them that can reach out to them. If more people went to serve short-term in those areas, we believe that we would see a whole army of people praying, giving, and going to those that will never have a chance to hear about Christ unless we go and do something about it. Jesus said that "the gospel of the kingdom would be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations and then the end would come." We could see that say in our generation if we got a little bit more strategic in the way we look at the Great Commission.
