Check out the new Global Frontier Missions website for more information about GFM.
The main vision of Global Frontier Missions is to make disciples and plant churches among indigenous people groups who still have not heard
the Gospel. The Bible says that people fr
om
every tribe, tongue, people, and nation will be standing before the throne of
God worshipping Him (Rev. 7:9,10). But how can these people worship God if they
have never heard the truth about Him? And how can they hear about Him, if no
one goes to them (Rom. 10:14,15)? We desire to hear the precious sound in heaven
of people from every tribe, praising the Lord in their native language.
We focus on taking the Gospel to all nations through:
Evangelism, Disicpleship, and Church
Planting: We desire to take the Gospel to villages and people
groups where it has never been preached. We focus on taking the Good News to
people one person at a time through relationship evangelism and discipleship.
We are called to go, make disciples, baptize them, and teach them to obey all
that Christ has commanded.
Short-Term Missions and Missionary Training: We desire
to raise up laborers to take the Good News to the end of
the earth. We believe that the Lord wants to use both local leaders and foreign
missionaries to accomplish the task. We have found short-term mission trips to be a great way to mobilize people into greater missions involvement. We are dedicated to equipping and raising
up people who will preach the Gospel to the whole world as a testimony to all
nations.
Community Development and Mercy Ministry: We
desire to meet the physical as well as the spiritual needs of the people. Jesus wants his kingdom to impact all spheres of society (education, politics, economy, media). We
can often find the way to a person's heart by providing them with food, clothing,
housing, or medicine. Most of our short term mission trips and church planting efforts have a holistic nature to them as we focus on meeting
felt physical needs while opening doors to minister to spiritual needs.
