Step 1: Go through our seven month Mission Training School.
Step 2: Go through our four month apprenticeship.
If you are looking at being a church planter, your apprenticeship will probably be very Spanish intensive: living with a host family, having a language tutor, spending a lot of time building relationships with the local people. If you are looking at being a part of the mobilization side of our missions (short-term teams and missionary training), you will probably do you apprenticeship as Global Adventures Staff.
Whereas the Mission Training School focuses a lot on personal spiritual growth, transition to the mission field, and missions theory, the GFM apprenticeship is a very practical, hands-on time of ministry. We spend more time mentoring and coaching you as you begin to launch into service.
Step 3: Make a two year commitment to GFM.
After you have gone through your apprenticeship, we ask you to make at least a two year commitment throwing yourself into the ministry that you have been trained to do (church planting, short-term teams, indigenous training, administration, maintenance, etc.)
